Details of the Awards and the Eligibility Criteria
1. Award for Teachers with Higher Potential
Eligibility
The applicants must have the minimum of five continuous years experience in School Teaching. They must have discovered new teaching practices or activities to improve the students’ aptitude for learning. The practices and activities must be original. A three page report should be prepared that should include details of the activities and teaching practices, responses from the students, demonstrating procedures (videos or tapes may be enclosed) , and a forward from the higher authority ( Head Masters or Principals ). The report should not exceed three pages.
2. Award for Professors with Excellence in Teaching in Higher Education
Eligibility
The applicants must have the minimum of five continuous years experience in College Teaching. They must have discovered new teaching practices or activities to improve the students’ aptitude for learning. The practices and activities must be original. A three page report should be prepared that should include details of the activities and teaching practices, responses from the students, demonstrating procedures (videos or tapes may enclosed), and a forward from the higher authority (Principals or Secretaries). The report should not exceed three pages.
3. Award for Cutting -edge Researches
Eligibility
The applicants must be any individuals whose research activities must have been approved of by any one of the Universities, Industries or Government Agencies in the world. Candidates involved with UGC projects are also eligible to apply for this award. A detailed report, comprising Research Problems, Data Collection Method, Research Tools and probable implications, must be sent to the Award Committee. The researches envisaging social development are given primary importance. Bullet points about the social relevance of the research may be included.
4. Award for Achievement of Excellence in Career Guidance and Placements
Eligibility
The applicants must be a Faculty in any one of the Higher Education Institutions. They must be currently working as Placement Officers. A report should be sent, comprising the details about the tenure of the incumbency, measures taken to improve the employability of the students, corporate collaborations, HR summits attended, and the number of students placed during their stint.
5. Award for the Think Tanks in Technical Education
Eligibility
The applicants must have the minimum of five continuous years experience in College Teaching. They must be Faculty of Technical Education Institutions. The applicants must have brought about a change in the Technical Education which should use pragmatic approach to teach technical education. They must have evolved new strategies for applying the concepts of Engineering for better education. The strategies and methods must be original. A three page report should be prepared that should include details of the activities and teaching practices, responses from the students, demonstrating procedures (videos or tapes may be enclosed), and a forward from the higher authority (Principals or Secretaries). The report should not exceed three pages.
6. Award for Scientists
Eligibility
The applicants must have discovered or invented something new and submitted path breaking research papers to improve the status of human beings. They must be any individuals who may be working for private or government industries or organizations. They must send a detailed report of the complete features of the discoveries or research papers along with the application form. The applicants must justify how useful their crafts and ideas are to the society.
7. Young Scientist Award
Eligibility
The applicants should not be more than 26 years old. They may be currently studying in either private or government college under any university. They must have invented new ideas, concepts, objects which include all kinds of automation or discovered alternative use of any materials or living things available on the earth. The applicants must write about their innovations in 100 words. Photos of the objects or crafts may also be enclosed with application. The application must also be enclosed with the LoR given by the higher authority of the respective colleges.
8. Award for the Scientists for Relentless Service
Eligibility
The applicants must be working as Scientists in any one of the Government organizations or the Research and Development wing (R&D) of private industries. They must have the minimum of 10 years experience in the respective domains. A report should be sent comprising the innovative practices and strategies introduced by them in the industries. It should be enclosed with the LoR issued by the higher authority.
9. Award for Pioneer Researches
Eligibility
The applicants must be working as Scientists in any one of the Government organizations or the Research and Development wing (R&D) of private industries. They must have the minimum of 10 years experience in the respective domains. Their research works must be purely empirical and original and must have paved for further researches. They must have presented at least two research papers of which one of them must have been presented in a foreign university. Their research papers must be listed on GOOGLE SCHOLAR or any other reference sites. In terms of paper publications, one paper must have been published in any of the globally recognized journals with high impact factor. A report should be sent comprising the innovative practices and strategies introduced by them in the industries. It should be enclosed with the LoR issued by the higher authority.
10. The Award of Excellence in PDF
Eligibility
The candidates must be pursuing Post Doctorate Fellowship in any one of the universities in the world. They must send a report detailing the researches and their scopes in the present scenario. It must be enclosed with the LoR issued by the higher authority.
11. Achievers Award for Engineers
Eligibility
The applicants must have the minimum of 10 years experience in the respective fields. They must be Engineering Graduates qualified in any domain. They must have used their expertise in engineering for the development of the nation and society. Especially, those who have used their skills to improve the rural infrastructure are given priority. They must send a detailed report elaborating on his expertise and how the same has been utilized for the goodness of the people. It should be attested by the higher authority.
12. Award for the Engineers with most Realistic Vision
Eligibility
The applicants must be engineers who must have evolved the most realistic visions for using the technology for improving the nation. They must send a report including the visions, their scopes in the present scenario, need for such visions, reliability of their visions and methods for realizing the visions.
13. Award for the Best Entrepreneur
Eligibility
The applicants must be any individual who must have their own set -ups. The ventures must have been the registered ones, especially under the Ministry of Commerce and should be at least 2 years old. They must send a report including the Registered Title of the set- up, type of business, no of employees, corporate social responsibility, vision, mission, specific achievements in the previous years, employee welfare schemes, and how the setups have improved the human capital.
14. Award for the Innovative Industrialist
Eligibility
The applicants must be industrialists who must be continuously introducing innovative practices to set away the age old industrial practices in order to renew the industrial set-ups. A report should be prepared including the innovative practices they have implemented and the points how they have drastically changed the work environment. Please mention the departments in which innovations have been imposed. Interview videos of the employees in the companies may also be sent in the form of CD or the same may be mailed.
15. Award for the Paper Presentation with Best Concepts Paper presentation discussing new and provoking concepts is given awards at the valedictory ceremony of the conference.
16. Award for the Best Paper Presentation Best paper presentation award is given for a presenter at the valedictory ceremony of the conference.
